Pigs Unlimited would like to present the newest addition to our line of pipeline cleaning pigs, the ARP Brush Cleaning Pig.
The ARP takes one of our most popular options for brush cleaning pigs, the LRB, and increases its functionality. By adding a scraper disc to the front of the pig we have found a higher level of product removal, more effective cleaning runs, and a more reliable gauging plate run.
The standard ARP is a 2-cup, 1-disc steel body pig with the disc mounted on the front of the pig, and spring mounted carbon steel brushes around the body of the pig. The rear cup provides an excellent sealing surface for propelling the pig. The disc mounted in the front provides the added rigidity that a disc pig provides. The pig can also be built with an additional scraper disc mounted in front of the rear cup.
You will also find all the options that normally come with our steel body pigs. The pig can accommodate magnets, a gauging plate, and the pig can be equipped with a transmitter cavity. Below you will find a picture of the flange mount style transmitter cavity.
