Sealing discs are constructed of high-grade abrasion and chemical resistant solid-cast polyurethane material. Sizes 2” through 14” are manufactured for center-rod-type pigs with center-hole, and sizes 16” through 48” are manufactured with bolting pattern configuration. Although primarily used with the MD and MDB series of pigs, sealing discs can be added to any steel pig for increased sealing capabilities. Options include neoprene, viton, epdm, buna-n or other elastomer compounds for special services; varying durometers (hardness); customized dimensions for special pigging applications.
