Medium-density silicon-carbide foam pigs are constructed of medium density foam, coated with polyurethane elastomer in a criss-cross pattern, and covered with loose silicon-carbide grit bonded to pig. They are used for regular cleaning applications for buildup removal. Options and other configurations include double-dish, double-nose, pulling rope or cable, transmitter or pinger cavity, jetting bypass ports, magnets, and customized diameters and lengths for special pigging applications.
