Heavy-density silicon-carbide foam pigs are constructed of 8 pound per cubic foot density foam, coated with polyurethane elastomer in criss-cross pattern, and equipped with silicon-carbide straps. They are used for heavy cleaning applications for buildup removal. Options and other configurations include double-dish, double-nose, pulling rope or cable, transmitter or pinger cavity, jetting bypass ports, magnets, customized diameters and lengths for special pigging applications.
