Our patented solid cup foam pig combines the best of two of the most common pig types. It utilizes the light-weight and the flexibility of foam pigs, and the ruggedness and sealing capabilities of cup pigs, thus making it capable of making longer runs. The SCFP Pig is ideal for hydrostatic testing, routine batching, as well as buildup and product removal. It is constructed from open-cell polyurethane foam with two high-grade abrasion and chemical resistant polyurethane scraper cups embedded in pig. Options include 5 – 7 pound and 8 – 10 pound foam density; cups manufactured from neoprene, viton, epdm, buna-n or other elastomer compounds for special services; configurations including cups, discs, conical cups or different combinations; varying coating patterns; varying styles of wirebrush and plastic bristle; dual-diameter configuration; pulling rope or cable; transmitter or pinger cavity; magnets; customized diameters and lengths for special pigging applications.
